Iris Rafaeli/Interior Designer

PROFILE

An interior designer and events coordinator with more than 20 years of experience who loves working on vastly diverse projects both large and small. An honors graduate in interior design and an Allied Associate member of ASID, my projects range from residential design and staging, commercial spaces, jewelry exhibitions both in New York and Las Vegas. I pride myself working closely with clients to achieve the highest standards of design and craftsmanship.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

VP Creative Director for Lulibox-2014-Present

My assignment is to focus on Web Design, SEO, product distribution and media focus.

 

Interior design/events design MaisonLulblu  2010-Present

Provided services to clients with designing and staging their events,  planning and choices of colors  and fabrics, provided schematics of venue interiors and exteriors , executed contracts and a project checklist, designed and built custom website, provided time management, planned a course of action with budget, contracted vendors and sub- vendors, manufactured a line of fine frames for LULIBOX for baby, currently designing a line of frames for Home and Bridal.

 

In-house designer/event strategist, Alison corporation — 2008-2010

Designed and executed a 10,000sf. space on Fifth Avenue. Duties included the execution and time management of work, budgeting and contracts of all vendors, the hire of all contractors, selection and purchase of all furnishings, wall treatments, window treatments, cabinetry and furniture placement for each room, art work,  kitchen and bathroom design, entry, foyer and lighting solutions and fixture selection.  Plans and execution of all jewelry shows and exhibitions to include hosting, modeling and sales of a luxury jewelry line.

 

Founder/interior designer, maison lublu - 2003 - 2008

Headed many large design projects in Miami Beach, Florida. Projects included the major renovation of a 3500sf. penthouse. Services included demolition of entire space. Conceptual renderings as well as drafting of floor plans and elevations, planning and choices of interior and exterior spaces to include color selection, fixture selection, selection of furnishings, schematics of built-ins,  kitchen design, bathroom design, exterior patio and rooftop landscape design,  all lighting and outdoor furnishings, wall and window treatments, custom cabinetry selection, art work, flooring selection, artificial floral arrangements, etc.

Provided services to clients with the design of their home, planning and choices of interior and exterior color and space, selection of furnishings, schematics of built-in furniture, kitchen design, bathroom design, wall and window treatments, custom cabinetry selection, art work, floral arrangements and lighting.

SKILLS & HOBBIES

Multi-lingual, proficient in Hebrew and Spanish, an accomplished artist with a 15-year education in Art.  A passion for Interior Design Black & White rendering, Acrylic ,Oil and pastel painting to include reproduction of the great impressionist,.  Sourcing unique furniture and fittings, Refurbishing antique furniture, Staging dinner tables,  gardening and floral arrangements, cooking, baking and entertaining, converting trash to treasures, sewing and crafting. A master with technical design skills, in floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, lighting and electrical plan and computer design.
